K-8 Teacher

St. Matthew's Catholic School, in Flathead County, has full-time/exempt Teacher positions available for the 2024-2025 school year.  Salary depends on certification and years of experience.  St. Matthew's provides many benefits, including medical, dental, vision, wellness, Life and Long Term Disability, Ancillary Products, and a retirement plan.

The successful candidate needs to be able to do the following:

• Provides an appropriate educational program for each student.

• Complies with policies, rules, regulations, and directives.

• Instruct individuals and groups in a classroom setting.

• Plans curriculum, lessons, and teaching methods.

• Monitors students' progress in and outside the classroom.

• Reports cases of suspected child abuse according to state law.

• Maintains regular contact with parents of students.

• Participates in faculty meetings, educational conferences, and professional training.

• Evaluate student progress based on work output and observation, and determine goals, objectives, and directions.

• Prepares report cards and educational records.

• Consult with other professionals and teaching staff regarding the progress of students and related educational matters.

• Works with students and classroom professionals.
