Course Description

Kindergarten Social Studies is designed to allow students a chance to learn, grow, and adapt to the world around them.

Course Objectives

The Kindergarten student will:

• Participate in class discussions and decisions
• Identify and verbalize problems and seek appropriate solutions
• Accept responsibility for self, actions, and personal belongings
• Learn to work together and share
• Recognize and accept diversity among individuals
• Discuss holidays and traditions
• Explore work places and the work people do
• Develop and awareness of maps and globes
