Technology

Course Description

Fifth grade students will visit the computer lab once a week. Fifth grade technology is designed to teach students to utilize technology as a tool to support the curriculum and individual learning needs. Students will learn to use technology skills for study, work, and community participation in an ethical manner.

Course Objectives

The 5th Grade Technology Student will

• Learn to effectively search the internet for information

• Develop Word Processing skills

• Continue to develop keyboarding skills

• Learn to navigate the internet

• Learn internet safety

• Use correct vocabulary/terminology
