Science
Course Description
Second
grade students through the inquiry process, will demonstrate the ability to
design, conduct, evaluate, and communicate results and reasonable conclusions
of scientific investigations. It is a program designed to develop
age-appropriate knowledge and understanding of the life, earth, and physical
sciences.
Course Objectives
Second
grade students will:

how scientists work and science safety
- Use
appropriate equipment and technology to observe, investigate, and record
measurements and data
- Explore
and study how living things grow and change
- Explore
the earthÕs surface and earthÕs weather and seasons
- Identify
simple tools
- Learn
about Montana American Indians and the use of natural resources and their
explanations of the natural world
