St. Matthew’s School Tuition
St. Matthew’s School’s tuition is a “Cost-Based; Need Based” program.
- Cost Based Tuition is based on the cost to educate a projected student population.
- Need Based Tuition Assistance is provided to families that have a need. This is determined through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.

- FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is a third-party service provider who objectively determines a family’s ability to pay tuition based on information provided by the family.
Application:
Tuition assistance is provided to families that are unable to pay the COE, determined through the objective assessment tool provided by FACTS Grant and Aid.
- This is the only form of tuition assistance available at St. Matthew School.
- Tuition Assistance can equal but not exceed 66% of the Cost of Education.
- 2011 – 2012 Tuition Range $ 1,617 – $ 4,900
Tuition Assistance Distribution Criteria:
- Children of St. Matthew’s Parish and School employees
- Families in order of least need to most need
- Determined by the greater of FACTS ability to pay or applicant reported ability to pay
- Subject to “minimum” tuition requirement
- Children currently enrolled
- Children with siblings currently enrolled
- Children of alumni
- First child now reaching school age
- Children on approved waiting list
- If there is not enough tuition assistance to cover the need, as determined by FACTS, the School’s Registrar will review each family’s application and take into account
- Parents who are active and practicing in a local Catholic parish
- Parents actively involved in supporting the local Catholic schools
