Meet Mrs. Mary Wagner

Mrs. Wagner, 2nd Grade

The wonderful thing about tiggers, is tiggers are wonderful things!

Mrs. Wagner has been teaching at St. Matthew’s since 2000.  Previously she has worked as a Montessori assistant teacher in Santa Barbara, CA and also in Kalispell.  She earned her BS and Teaching Credential from San Diego State University.  She is also a trained Reflexologist.

Outside of teaching Mrs. Wagner enjoys hiking, camping, canoeing, biking, swimming and cross country skiing with family and friends.  She rode horses a lot in California but no longer owns one.  And everyone knows she loves Tigger, so it is no surprise that Disneyland is one of her favorite places because “I can visit Tigger!”

Mrs. Wagner is a teacher because she loves kids: their laughter, their curiosity, their innocence, their zeal for life and their love of God. The best part of her day includes “the fun I have with the students while they learn, and I love visiting with the staff and our families.” She found it hard to put into words what she loves most about St. Matthew’s, and instead made a little visual:
