Meet Mr. Doug Manaker

5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Social Studies

Mr. Manaker has been at St. Matt’s since 2007. He’s been teaching for 13 years, in South Carolina and Michigan as well as in Montana. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, receiving his Teacher Certification from Eastern Michigan University and Social Studies Certification from Western Michigan University.

Outside of his teaching life, Mr. Manaker loves sports and the outdoors, with golf, hiking and biking as particular favorite activities. He also is a radio sportscaster, doing play-by-play for Glacier High School sports. In addition, he enjoys the family life with wife Lexi and their three boys Sam, Gabe and Ben.

As a teacher, Mr. Manaker enjoys having the chance to shape the future by shaping our future leaders. “I strive to make my students better not only academically, but as fine young men and women who will build our tomorrow.”
