Meet Mrs. Lisa Brann

Mrs. Brann, First Grade
Mrs. Brann has been teaching at St. Matthew’s since 1993. She holds a B.A. from the University of Montana.
Coming from a family with 10 brothers and sisters, Mrs. Brann likes big groups! Her hobbies include reading, sewing, playing tennis and spending time with her sisters. Being an avid reader herself, she loves seeing children learning to read, each at their own pace and with a sense of love for it. The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles is a first grade favorite of hers. Another favorite first grade activity is Rocket Timings.
Mrs. Brann’s favorite saint is St. Anthony to help her find all those misplaced things. ”I hope I don’t ever lose my mind or the prayer will be forgotten.” And her favorite school lunch is the salad bar.
She loves the way coming into class each day brightens her mood. “The kids make me laugh constantly.” She also loves the first part of class each day when they read their poems.
The things Mrs. Brann likes most about teaching at St. Matthew’s are, ”teaching through faith, and teaching with our wonderful teachers.”
